Flash Tutorial : Photo Gallery (AS 3.0)

In this tutorial we will build a photo gallery. We will load the paths to the photos from an xml file and will use the Tweener class to add some nice transitions. You can download this class from Google Code download Tweener class.
This is how the final product will look:

1. Create a new file by going to File > New select Flash file (ActionScript 3.0) and click Ok. Save the file as photo_gallery.fla.

2. Select the Rectangle tool set the stroke to none and the fill to #999999 and on the stage draw a rectangle 110 by 110.Select the rectangle hit F8 to convert it to a MovieClip. Set its name to thumb and set the registration point to center and click Ok. [...]

Photoshop Tutorial : Fantasy Light Effects in Photoshop

Using Photoshop and Illustrator, it’s possible to create a fantasy scene using brushes and blur effects to their fullest.

Fantasy art scenes are usually handled with a liberal sprinkling of Photoshop plug-in fairy dust – but you don’t have to slavishly follow that route. By creating your own brushes in Adobe Illustrator, and using scanned elements with Photoshop, it’s a simple process to create otherworldly scenes that are alive with glow effects and shafts of virtual light.

This masterclass takes a standard stock model – a super high-resolution version is included on the cover CD, or you can use your own – and applies layers of light and vector shapes to generate the main image shown left.

During this masterclass, you’ll learn to wrap your source image into a multitude of layers that add a fantastical theme to your art. The key here is to tread softly. When recreating fantasy light effects, soft brushes and fine application is the order of the day. Anything that’s too heavy can ruin the look.

Flash Tutorial : Make Text Be On
How to make the text in order to be seen is (Flickering) ?
Here I will try make with the Macromedia Flash.
  1. Open the Macromedia Flash Program.
  2. Choose File, New (Ctrl+N) and click OK.
  3. Choose Modify, Document (Ctrl+J), change the size to 400px * 200px and click OK.
  4. Choose Text Tool (T), click on the stage and start typing for example : http://endysta.blogspot.com."
  5. Change the font, size and color of the text if necessary.
  6. Select the text and press the switch F8, the substitute for the Symbol Name and choose Move Clip and click OK.
  7. Right click on Frame 40 and choose Insert Keyframe.
  8. Right click on any frame bettwen Frame 1 and Frame 40 and choose Create Motion Tween.
  9. Select Frame 40 then select the Text .
  10. Choose Filter Tab, click on Plus button to Add a filter, choose glow , than mack blur X and Y option about 19.
  11. Right click on Frame 1 and choose Copy Frame.
  12. Right click on Frame 80 and choose Paste Frame.
  13. Right click any frame between Frame 40 and Frame 80 than choose create Motion Tween.
  14. Make the frame rate from Propriety panel 40.
  15. Export results to the Movie Format.

Photoshop Tutorial : Colorful Picture Style

Make a strong impression to a picture by using color blend technique.
  1. Open the picture below. Create a new document (500x700), fill background with color #F2EADF.
  2. Pick Lasso Tool and set Feather 25px.
  3. Make a selection like this :
  4. Use Move Tool to move the selection to background then pick Eraser Tool, set the properties like this :Use Eraser to make the border of picture softer.
  5. Create a New Layer, change blend mode to Screen.
  6. Make the picture looks more colorful by using soft brush with some colors that you like.
  7. Use Smuge Tool to make the picture looks more flexible. Go to Color Balance and do so as the pictures below.
  8. Finally, you can add some texts and brushes to the picture to make it looks better.

Photoshop Tutorial : Graceful Lady In The Dark

Learn manipulation skills to make an awesome graceful lady in dhe dark photo effect inthis tutorial, we will use these stocks :
Photo 1Photo 2Photo 3Photo 4The first, you open Photo 1, then open Photo 2 and cut the model out.Move the model to Photo 1.How you will make the background brifhter. Select layer background, press Ctrl+M to open Curves, do as the picture below :Select layer model, press Ctrl+U to open Hue/Saturation.You will get :Open Photo 3, move it to your document, change Blend mode to Screen, adjust Opacity 50%.Open Photo 4, use Magic Wand tool to cut the petals out of background. Change Blend mode to Screen.Create a new layer, use soft brush 100px, brush around the model then go to Filter -> Blur -> Radial Blur.Change Bland mode of layer brush to Screen, you will get :Create a new layer, fill layer with color #988675, change Blend Mode to Overlay and you will get :Marge Visible all layers, then press Ctrl+M to open Curves, set properties like this :You will get.Open Curves one more time and do as the picture below :You will get the final result like this :

Photoshop Tutorial : Make Photos More Suggestive

Learn how to make the model in this tutorial more suggestive with awesome curves.
  1. Open a picture you like to make effect, in this tutorial I used Nelly Furtado model photo. Press Ctrl+J to duplicate layer, go to Filter -> Brush stroke -> Spatter (Radius = 10, Smoothness = 5), chosse mode = Lighten Use Eraser Tool (choose Soft Brush) to remove put on the picture.
  2. Create a new layer then go to Image -> Apply Image -> OK. Continue go to Filter -> Blur -> Motion Blur and adjust angle match with the sun light on the picture, distance = 50, set mode this layer : Lighten and continue erase parts put on the model.
  3. Create a New Layer -> Image -> Apply Image -> OK, use white Brush soft 65px, Opacity 50% brush a line on the model and change mode = Soft Light.
  4. Go to Layer -> New Adjusment -> Gradient Map. And do as the picture below, then change mode = Multiply, Opacity = 60%.
  5. Make again Step 1 but this time you adjust Opacity = 60 %. Create a New Layer and use Spazzsplatter brush to brush anywhere on the picture that you like use pen tool to draw a curved line, your picture will be softer.
  6. Make again Step 4 but now opacity = 70% and mode = Normal, Create a New Layer Gradient Map like this : mode = Softlight, Opacity= 40 %.
  7. Create a New Gradient Map like this : Mode = Softlight, Opacity = 30 %.
